Yay Summer!

Apologies for being a blogging-slacker lately. My free time has been consumed with some extracurricular design projects and well, summer. Did you all have a fabulous Memorial Day weekend? Mine was seriously stellar--full of delicious food, sunshine, and relaxation. Highlights include dinner at Otto Enoteca (Mario Batali's pizza + olive oil gelato), brunch at Clinton Street Baking Co. (yes, the wait really was 2 hours), a pistachio/chocolate/hazelnut Pop Bar, a walk to the South St. Seaport, seeing my boyfriend's college buddy get naked on stage in Hair! on Broadway (SUCH a fun show!), cooling off in Washington Square Park's fountain, and quite a few hours at the Astoria Beer Garden. PHEW.

Summer in NYC is just the best.

It was so nice to meet you in person yesterday! Thanks so much for saying hi--so fun! I love your site and can't believe I didn't immediately recognize you from those cute eating pics on Pret a Voyager--I loved them! Did you find anything good yesterday? We finally found the letterpress duo we were seeking and brought home a very sweet card for my nephew's birthday, but otherwise left empty-handed. See you soon...

It was lovely meeting you two, too! Thanks for the nice comment! I ended up with a pair of felt earrings from Feisty Elle. I decided I was allowed to treat myself to one piece of jewelry that was unique and under $50--these fit the bill! Images should be coming soon...
