Quilts, quilts......as far as the eye can see...
I meant to post about this incredible exhibit at The Armory when I saw it in March, but somehow I'm just uploading these photos now. Infinite Variety showcased 651 red and white quilts personally collected by Joanna Rose. For her 80th birthday, Joanna's wish was to see all her quilts on display at once. In this exhibit, The American Folk Art Museum turned her wish into a stunning reality. If you've ever been to The Armory you know the hugeness of this space (55,000 sq feet) and seeing it filled floor to ceiling with nothing but red and white quilts (no repeats!) was just unreal.
I hope this exhibit travels so it can be seen all over the world! Did any of my NYC readers make it to the show? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Oh boy!! Looks magical sad I didn't get to see it...the armory is an epic space what an unexpected venue for the quilts and I find it so precious this exhibit was a wish...looooove.
