Big Apple Film Festival
Those of you who have been following my blog since day 1 (literally) may remember that two years ago my family and I took a trip to Poland to film a documentary about my grandparent's experiences during the Holocaust. You can read my very first blog post for my reactions following the trip here.
Well, I'm over the moon proud to announce that our little film, "We Are Still Here," has been selected to screen as part of the Big Apple Film Festival here in New York! It will be shown on Wednesday, November 2nd at 9:30pm at Tribeca Cinemas (together with another film titled "From The Ground Up").
So, come see my face on the big screen! I just realized tomorrow (October 23rd) is the last day to purchase advance tickets online, available here (PROGRAM 11). After tomorrow, tickets will be available at the door starting one hour before showtime.
My talented brother, Evan, is the heart and soul of this project...organizer, producer, editor, etc. etc. I worked with Evan in the later stages of editing, which earned me the lofty title of "story producer." I also worked on the graphics including the DVD packaging above (adapted from a series of linoleum block prints I made in college).
You can preview an introduction to the film here and feel free to contact me for more information.
