My parents are official NY-FL snowbirds, and are currently spending their first winter away from the snow. On Wednesday morning I'm heading south to visit, and I'm excited to soak up some rays for a couple of days. Their place is about thirty minutes north of Fort Lauderdale and an hour north of Miami, so I'm hoping to fit in a couple of day trips to explore some different areas. Does anyone have any tips of things to do/see/eat while I'm down there? I'd love love love to hear any recommendations!

My parents are Minnesota- Arizona snowbirds, and I visit them every year- I love it!
